The application of the CMR Convention to multimodal transports – the example of Quantum Corp. v. Plane TruckingWetterstein, Peter
JFT 6/2014 s. 459–470
The continuous growth of international trade have emphasized the need for a unified legal regime for multimodal carriage of goods. However, in spite of numerous attempts to draft such a legal regime, the results have so far been poor. Instead, we have unimodal (carriage by sea, international air transport etc.) transport conventions in force. This article deals with one of the unimodal conventions, the CMR Convention for international carriage by road, in a multimodal transport context. (Muokannut Edilex-toimitus)
